HOW IT WORKS

Six weeks in three simple steps

You start with the basics, build a full project and put it online. After that, you move on to real project work.

Learn the basics

Weeks 1 and 2. See how IT companies work, use Git and Linux, and build the backend of an app with APIs and a database.

Build, test and go live

Weeks 3 to 6. Add the screens users see, test and secure your app, put it on the cloud and practise for interviews.

Work on real projects

Once the 6 weeks are done, you use what you learned on real project work. You plan, build, test and deliver as part of a team.

WEEK 01 · HOW IT COMPANIES WORK

IT Basics & Tools

Learn how software teams plan and track their work. Then set up the tools you will use for the rest of the internship.

SDLC & AgileGit & GitHubLinuxDNS & HTTP

What you’ll learn

  • Product vs service companies, and who does what in an IT team
  • How work is planned: SDLC, Agile, Scrum, sprints and Jira
  • Git, GitHub, Linux basics and how the web works (DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)

Put it into practice

  • Save and share code with Git
  • Create and move tasks in Jira
  • Run common Linux commands
WHAT YOU HAND INYour GitHub repo + a working tool setup
WEEK 02 · BUILD THE BACKEND

Programming & Backend

Pick one language and build the part of an app that stores and sends data. This is the backend, the code users never see.

Java / Python / Node.jsREST APIsSQLPostman

What you’ll learn

  • Pick one: Java + Spring Boot, Python + Django/Flask or Node.js + Express
  • Clean code, error handling and REST APIs
  • SQL and how to design a database

Put it into practice

  • Build CRUD APIs (create, read, update, delete)
  • Connect your code to a database
  • Test your APIs with Postman
WHAT YOU HAND INYour backend code on GitHub
WEEK 03 · BUILD WHAT USERS SEE

Frontend & Full-Stack

Build the screens of your app with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React, Angular or Vue. Then connect them to your backend.

HTML / CSS / JavaScriptReact / Angular / VueJWTAPI integration

What you’ll learn

  • HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript (ES6)
  • React, Angular or Vue, and how to call your APIs
  • Safe logins with JWT

Put it into practice

  • Join your screens to your backend
  • Build a login page
  • Give each type of user the right access
WHAT YOU HAND INA small full-stack app that works end to end
WEEK 04 · MAKE IT SAFE AND SOLID

Code Quality & Security

Learn how good teams keep code clean, safe and fast. You write tests and check each other’s code.

Design patternsOWASP basicsUnit testingCode reviews

What you’ll learn

  • Design patterns such as MVC and Singleton
  • Security basics (OWASP Top 10)
  • Unit testing and making code run faster

Put it into practice

  • Write unit tests
  • Make your APIs secure
  • Review a teammate’s code
WHAT YOU HAND INTest report + code review report
WEEK 05 · PUT YOUR APP ONLINE

DevOps & Cloud

See how apps run inside real companies. Pack your app with Docker, set up automatic builds and run it on a cloud server.

DockerCI/CDAWS / Azure / GCPMonitoring

What you’ll learn

  • DevOps basics, more Linux, ports and firewalls
  • Cloud basics (AWS, Azure, GCP), and VMs vs containers
  • Docker, CI/CD with GitHub Actions or Jenkins, secrets and logs

Put it into practice

  • Put your project in Docker (Dockerfile + docker-compose)
  • Build a CI pipeline
  • Deploy to a cloud VM and set up basic monitoring
WHAT YOU HAND INYour app live on the cloud + CI setup
WEEK 06 · GET JOB READY

Go Live & Job Prep

Learn how real apps are launched and kept running. Then get your resume, LinkedIn and interview skills ready, and show your final project.

Production deploymentResume & LinkedInMock interviewsFinal evaluation

What you’ll learn

  • Going live, scaling, backup and rollback
  • Cloud costs and system design basics for freshers
  • How to talk to clients and behave at work

Put it into practice

  • Update your resume and LinkedIn profile
  • Mock interviews (technical + HR)
  • Present your project for the final evaluation
WHAT YOU HAND INFinal project + evaluation
Week 01 / 06
After the 6 weeks: real project work.

You use what you learned on real projects with a team.

Pick your language

Finish with a project you can show

By the last day you have a working full-stack app, live on the cloud, with all your code on GitHub. You can open it and walk through it in any job interview.

Your project

  • Full-stack app
  • Live on the cloud

Your job prep

  • Resume & LinkedIn
  • Mock tech & HR interviews

After 6 weeks you have

  • Your code on GitHub
  • An app live on the cloud
  • A CI pipeline set up
  • Resume and LinkedIn ready
  • Mock interviews done

Final evaluation

  • Development skills35%
  • Project & deployment35%
  • DevOps & infra15%
  • Communication & discipline15%

How you are marked

In the last week you present your project. Your final score comes from four areas. Coding is a big part, but so are putting your app live and how you work with the team.
