Web Design Agency in London

WEB DESIGNAGENCY IN LONDON

ISSUE 012026

Ask a London web design agency what a small business website costs and you will usually be offered a discovery call before you are offered a number. When the number does arrive, it is often somewhere between £4,000 and £12,000, and a fair share of that pays for the agency's rent rather than your website.

GIT Infosys is a web design agency in London with an incredible team, our own design and development studio in India. We have been building websites since July 2010, with more than 500 projects delivered across the UK, the US and India, for clients including the London International Youth Science Forum (LIYSF).

Our prices are published on this page. A 5-page website starts at £500, a 15-page site with a CMS at £1,200 and an online shop at £3,000. You deal with people in London, the build is done by our own staff, and your quote is fixed in writing before you pay a penny.

Our Web Design Services in London

VOLUME 01
01

Small Business Website Design

Most of our London clients need a clear, quick site that explains what they do and makes it easy to get in touch. Home, services, about, contact, and a page for whatever customers keep asking about. Our Standard package covers this from £500, using one of our own tried and tested layouts set up in your colours, fonts and photos.

It is the right starting point for a new business or a sole trader who needs to look credible online this month, not next quarter.

02

Bespoke Website Design

When a layout from our library will not do, we design from a blank page. Your brand, your customers and the way you sell decide the structure, and you click through every page as a working design before a line of code is written. Bespoke work is quoted separately, in writing, once we understand the brief.

03

WordPress Website Design

WordPress suits most businesses that publish regularly. Your team can post news, add case studies and change prices from a simple dashboard. We build lean WordPress sites with as few plugins as possible, keep them updated, and train whoever will be running the site day to day.

VOLUME 02
04

Ecommerce Website Design

Online shops on Shopify or WooCommerce, from £3,000. Product filters, Apple Pay and Google Pay, Klarna, Royal Mail and DPD shipping rates, VAT set up correctly, and a checkout that asks for nothing it does not need. If you are unsure which platform suits you, we will tell you straight, because we build on both.

05

Website Redesign and Migration

Redesigning a site that already brings in business needs care. We record every URL that gets traffic from Google, carry the useful content across and set up 301 redirects for anything that moves. Moving off Wix, Squarespace or a tired WordPress theme is work we do often, and it should not cost you your rankings.

06

Landing Pages for Google Ads

London search ads can cost several pounds a click, so the page those clicks land on matters. One offer, one form, a phone number that dials when tapped, and tracking that shows which ad produced which enquiry. A better landing page lowers what each lead costs you without adding a pound to the ad budget.

VOLUME 03
07

Logo and Brand Design

Our Standard package includes a logo, which suits a new business that does not have one yet. For established firms we design fuller brand identities, with colours, type and templates for social posts and documents, so your website and everything else you send out look like they came from the same company.

08

Accessibility and Speed Fixes

Not every site needs rebuilding. Some need faster hosting, lighter images, better contrast and forms that work with a screen reader. We check what you have against Core Web Vitals and WCAG 2.2, then fix what matters, which often costs a fraction of a new site.

09

Website Maintenance and Support

Software updates, backups, security checks and the small edits every business needs. Your London contact takes the request and our studio makes the change. Because our studio starts work while London is still asleep, small jobs are often done by the time you sit down at your desk.

02Why Choose Us

Why London Businesses Choose GIT Infosys

UK WEBSITE ESSENTIALS

What a UK Business Website should have

Plenty of good-looking sites fall short on the rules and habits that are particular to selling in the UK. We build these in as standard.

Cookie consent and UK GDPR

A cookie banner that lets visitors refuse as easily as they accept, tracking that waits for consent where the rules require it, and a privacy notice that matches what the site actually collects. Under the ICO's guidance, pre-ticked boxes and a hidden reject button do not count as consent.

Accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA

Around one in four people in the UK report a disability, and the Equality Act expects businesses to make reasonable adjustments for them. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA: readable contrast, proper headings, labelled forms, keyboard navigation and alt text on images.

The company details the law asks for

If you trade as a limited company, your website has to show your registered name, company number, registered office address and where the company is registered. It is a legal requirement, and a surprising number of London sites leave it out. We put it in the footer, where people and Google both expect to find it.

VAT and the prices shoppers see

Consumers should see prices that include VAT. Trade buyers often want them without. We set shops up to show the right figure to the right customer, and to issue VAT invoices with your VAT number when you are registered.

Rules for selling online

Customers who buy online generally have 14 days to cancel, and your terms and returns page need to say so. Since April 2025 the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act has also banned fake reviews and fees that only appear at checkout. We build checkouts that show the full price from the first page.

Payments UK shoppers expect

Apple Pay and Google Pay on mobile, PayPal for people who would rather not type card details, and Klarna or PayPal Pay in 3 for bigger baskets. Stripe, Worldpay, Square and SumUp handle the cards. Offering the wallet a customer already uses removes one of the most common reasons people abandon a checkout.

UK hosting and local search

Sites hosted in UK data centres load faster for UK visitors and keep customer data in the country. If you serve a particular part of London, we connect the site to your Google Business Profile and build area pages that help you appear in the map results near you.

LONDON WORKING MODEL

How We Work With London Clients

01

One London contact, one studio team

You deal with our team in Wembley for calls, meetings and anything urgent. The design and development happen in our own studio in Jaipur, India, with the same people from start to finish. Nobody working on your site is a freelancer.

02

The time difference works in your favour

India is four and a half to five and a half hours ahead of the UK, depending on the time of year. Feedback you send in the evening is picked up by our studio in the early hours of the London morning, so the changes are usually well under way before your first coffee.

03

Meetings in person when they help

Most projects run perfectly well on video calls and a shared staging link. When a face-to-face meeting is useful, for a kick-off or a training session, our London team can meet you.

04

Clear quotes in pounds

A written scope and a fixed price in sterling before anything starts. Larger projects are paid in stages, as each stage is delivered, so you are never paying for work you have not seen.

BEFORE YOU HIRE

How to Choose a Web Design Agency in London

01

Get a price before the second call

An agency that cannot give you a rough figure after one conversation is either unsure of its own costs or waiting to see how much you will pay. Neither is a good sign.

02

Ask where the work is actually done

Plenty of London agencies send design and development overseas without mentioning it. There is nothing wrong with that, and it is exactly what we do. What matters is whether they tell you, and whether the people doing the work are their own staff.

03

Open their websites on your phone

Ask for live links rather than screenshots. Open them on your phone over 4G and see how quickly they load and how easy it is to get in touch.

04

Ask who will own the site

The domain, hosting, code and design files should all be in your name. If the agency keeps the domain, leaving them later gets expensive.

05

Ask what happens to your rankings

If your current site brings in search traffic, ask how they will protect it during a rebuild. A good answer will mention mapping your current URLs and setting up 301 redirects.

06

Ask how long they have been trading

Your website will need looking after for years. Find out how long the agency has been in business and whether the same people will still be answering the phone in three years' time.

WHY GIT INFOSYS

London service, studio pricing.

London service, studio pricing. You speak to people in Wembley, and the work is done by our own design and development team in India. That is how a 5-page site starts at £500 and an online shop at £3,000, without cutting corners on the build.

We have been doing this since 2010. More than 500 projects across the UK, the US and India, and over 150 verified client reviews. We are not a two-person studio that might not be here next year.

Our prices are on the page. Standard, Enhanced and E-commerce are published above, extra pages are £50 each, and every quote is fixed in writing.

You own all of it. The domain, the hosting account, the code and the design files are registered to you. Leave whenever you want and take the lot.

UK rules come as standard. Cookie consent, accessibility, company details, VAT and consumer rights are part of every build, not extras on the invoice.

We will be straight with you. If your current site just needs quicker hosting or a clearer enquiry form, you will hear that from us, and you will pay for that fix alone.

COVERAGE

Where We Work in London and Across the UK

Our team is based in Wembley, and we work with businesses right across London: Brent, Harrow and Barnet, Ealing and Hounslow, Camden and Islington, Westminster and the City, Canary Wharf and Stratford, Croydon, Kingston and Richmond, and out to Watford and the home counties.

Further afield, we build for clients in Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Leicester, Bristol, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Distance does not change how a project runs. You get video calls, a staging link, a written update each week and one named contact.

04Industries We Serve

Industries We Design For in London

01

Law Firms, Accountants and Consultants

Clear service pages, team profiles, a simple way to book a consultation and the regulatory details your clients look for, including the SRA badge for law firms. Credibility does the selling here, so the design stays calm and the route to contact stays obvious.

02

Estate Agents and Property

Property listings, valuation request forms and area guides. Buyers and tenants compare several agents on their phones in one evening, so listing pages have to load quickly and look sharp.

03

Restaurants, Cafés and Hospitality

Menus as real text rather than a PDF, correct opening hours, table booking and allergen information. Most visitors want one of four answers, and they want it on a phone in a few seconds.

04

Retail and Online Shops

Product pages that sell, quick category pages and a short checkout. We also connect shops to Google Merchant Center and Meta so your products can appear in shopping ads.

05

Education, Charities and Youth Organisations

Programme pages, application forms, event listings and donation pages. Our work with the London International Youth Science Forum means we know how to build a site that speaks to students, parents and partners at the same time.

06

Private Clinics and Health Practices

Treatment pages, practitioner profiles, prices and online booking. Health claims need careful wording, and CQC-registered services have to show their latest rating on their website, so we build that in from the start.

07

Trades and Construction

A page for each service, project galleries, accreditations such as Gas Safe or NICEIC, and a quote form that asks the right questions. Most enquiries come from people searching for help in a specific area, so local pages carry a lot of weight.

05Our Process

How We Build Your Website

Seven stages, with the work visible as it moves.

01

Brief and quote

A short call, on video or in person, about your business, your customers and what the site has to achieve. You get a written scope, a fixed price and a launch date.

02

Page plan

We agree the pages, what each one is for and which searches it should appear in. If you are writing the copy yourself, you get a short brief for every page so the words fit the design.

03

Design

You see the home page and one key inner page first. Once you are happy with the direction, we carry it across the rest of the site. Standard sites use one of our layouts set up in your brand, and bespoke sites are designed from scratch.

04

Build

We build on a private test address that only you and our team can see, and you can check it any day you like. No big reveal at the end, and no nasty surprises either.

05

Content, SEO and tracking

Copy and images loaded, page titles and descriptions written, schema added and redirects from any old site mapped. Google Analytics, Search Console and your cookie banner are set up and tested together, so tracking and consent actually agree with each other.

06

Testing

Every page checked on iPhone, Android, Chrome, Safari and Edge. Every form submitted and every payment tested, and we make sure each enquiry lands in the right inbox.

07

Launch and training

We go live, watch the site closely through its first week and show your team how to update it. The domain, the code and every login are handed over in your name.

What London Agencies Usually Charge

For comparison, a small business website from a London-based agency typically costs between £4,000 and £12,000, and an online shop can run well past £15,000. Those agencies are not overcharging. They are paying London salaries and London rents.

We keep an account team in Wembley and do the design and build in our own studio in India, where the same skills cost far less. That difference goes into your quote rather than into our overheads.

What You Also Pay Each Year

These are not our fees, but they belong in your budget. A .co.uk or .com domain costs roughly £10 to £20 a year to renew. Hosting for a normal business site runs about £60 to £250 a year, more for a busy shop. If you want Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 for email, allow roughly £6 to £12 per user a month. Shopify's Basic plan is around £19 to £25 a month, and Stripe charges about 1.5% plus 20p on a standard UK card.

Every package comes with your domain paid for the first year, and Enhanced and E-commerce add a year of hosting on top. Your quote sets out what the renewals will cost from year two.

What Changes the Price

Page count comes first, with extra pages at £50 each. Then whether you want a bespoke design or one of our layouts. Features such as booking, a member area or a quote calculator. Connections to software you already use, like Xero, HubSpot or a stock system. And content. A project with the words and photos ready goes live weeks sooner than one where they are still being written.

08FAQ

Questions London businesses ask before choosing a website partner.

Frequently Asked Questions

With us, a 5-page Standard website starts at £500, a 15-page Enhanced site with a CMS starts at £1,200 and an online shop starts at £3,000. Extra pages are £50 each. Bespoke designs and custom features are quoted separately, and every quote is fixed in writing before you pay.

Because our design and development studio is in India, where salaries and rents are far lower than in London. Your account is handled by our team in Wembley, and your site is built by our own employees, not freelancers. You get a London point of contact without paying for London overheads.

Up to five pages using one of our in-house layouts, set up in your colours and branding. A logo, up to five email addresses on your domain, an SEO-friendly build and your domain for the first year. It suits a new business that needs to look professional quickly. If you want a design made from scratch, that is our bespoke service.

Standard and Enhanced websites usually take about 30 days from the point we have your final text and images. Online shops need more time, depending on how many products and integrations are involved. Waiting for content is the most common reason a launch slips.

You do. The domain, hosting, code, design files and every login are in your name. If you move to another agency, everything comes with you.

Every package includes the domain for year one, and Enhanced and E-commerce add the first year of hosting. After that, renewals are usually £10 to £20 a year for the domain and £60 to £250 a year for hosting.

We build the technical side properly: a cookie banner with a real reject option, consent before tracking where it is needed, secure forms and a privacy notice page. Responsibility for how you use personal data stays with your business, so for anything unusual we suggest your solicitor checks the wording.

Yes. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA, which covers contrast, headings, alt text, keyboard use and form labels. It helps disabled visitors, and it makes the site clearer for everyone else too.

Yes, as long as it is planned from the start. We list the pages that get search traffic, keep what works, redirect anything that moves and keep an eye on Search Console for several weeks after launch.

Shopify if you want a managed shop you can run yourself without thinking about servers or updates. WooCommerce if you already use WordPress, want no monthly platform fee or need unusual pricing rules. We build on both and will recommend the one that fits your products.

Yes. Enhanced and E-commerce sites come with CMS training, so your team can add pages, post news and change products. You also get short videos to refer back to.

Every site is built with the basics in place: clean structure, fast pages, titles, schema and a sitemap. Competing for busy London search terms takes months of content and link building, and that is a separate monthly SEO service if you want it.

You can. Live examples include LIYSF, Sogani Jewels and Trippy Adventures, and we will happily send links to work in your own sector.

No. Our team is in Wembley, but we work with clients all over the UK, and in the US through our office in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Call our London team on +44 20 3417 5810 or send the enquiry form. Give us a short outline of what you do and a link to your current site, if there is one. After a quick chat you will get a written scope and a fixed price in pounds.
